During the 2025-2026 Fiesta® season, the Fiesta Especial® Royal Court will represent Fiesta Especial® in the community demonstrating to others the abilities of all individuals to achieve their dreams...bringing visibility to the leadership and contributions individuals with disabilities make in our community each day.

The Fiesta Especial® Royal Court program is a leadership and life skills development program for individuals with all types of cognitive, physical and sensory disabilities.

Campaigns officially begin on Saturday, September 6th, 2025 at 12:01 PM.  ​You're invited to click on the Candidate's links below to make a donation to his/her campaign.

​Benefiting Organization: The Ferrari Kid

HOW AMANDA SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:
Amanda has chosen Ferrari Kid as her benefiting organization. Ferrari Kid’s mission is to provide children battling cancer and chronic illnesses with unforgettable, celebrity-like experiences and ongoing support. Their programs foster hope, joy, and self-worth for children and their families

​
Amanda Romero is a bright and compassionate young leader who dedicates her life to raising awareness for the special needs community. At just 11 years old, she demonstrates empathy, kindness, and a willingness to help others, modeling the importance of inclusion and friendship for kids and adults with disabilities. Passionate about advocacy, Amanda is proving that even the youngest members of the community can make a big difference in advancing acceptance and understanding of individuals living with disabilities. Living with 22q11.2 duplication syndrome, Amanda shines with determination to uplift others.

When asked why she wanted to participate in this year's program Amanda replied, "To keep bringing awareness about special needs and to let everyone know that special needs kids and adults need friends too."

​Benefiting Organization: Ainsley's Angels

​
HOW BREANNA SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:
Breanna has chosen
Ainsley's Angels as her benefiting organization. Ainsley's Angels of America is dedicated to ensuring everyone can experience endurance events while building awareness about the special needs community through inclusion in all aspects of life. Their mission is: "Together, We Shall educate, advocate, and celebrate inclusive communities while connecting everyone through empowerment and belonging".

Breanna Harrison brings joy and charisma wherever she goes, despite communicating primarily through facial expressions as a non-verbal individual. She actively participates in her church choir and other ministries, proving that leadership and inspiration come in many forms. Breanna reminds others that individuals with disabilities can shine brightly, inspire their peers, and capture attention through love, personality, and confidence. Living with cerebral palsy, she embraces life as a leader and as someone who thrives in the spotlight.

When asked why she wanted to participate in this year's program Breanna replied, "She loves to be the center of attention."

​Benefiting Organization: Eva's Heroes

HOW CANDIDATE SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:

Brianna has chosen Eva’s Heroes as her benefiting organization. Eva’s Heroes enriches the lives of individuals with intellectual special needs by providing an inclusive environment that encourages interaction, growth, learning, and love. Participants are empowered to thrive in society through meaningful activities and support.
Brianna Pena is creative, loving, and fiercely independent, always standing up for others and using her voice for good. She brings her compassionate energy to volunteer work at Meals on Wheels, food pantries, the Humane Society, and several church and community groups. Bria incorporates her faith and life lessons to inspire and uplift everyone she meets. Her diverse efforts highlight the remarkable accomplishments of individuals with disabilities.

When asked why she wanted to participate in this year's program, Brianna replied, "Brianna loves fiesta—it’s her favorite time of the year, and she wants to show that special needs women can achieve anything they set their minds to."

​Benefiting Organization: Kinetic Kids

HOW CANDIDATE SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:

Carmelina has chosen Kinetic Kids as her benefiting organization. Kinetic Kids’ mission is to enrich the lives of children with special needs and their families through sports, fine arts, and educational programs that build courage, confidence, and fitness. Their community creates opportunities for children to achieve new possibilities.

Carmelina is a joyful spirit, determined to form friendships and help others. She volunteers at Mansfield Thrift Store and with different local special needs ministry programs. She is an active participant with the Mansfield Special Olympics bowling, tennis and basketball. Carmelina is always ready to lend a helping hand to her mom with one of her three younger brothers and is a model of perseverance, tenacity, and encouragement.

When asked why she wanted to participate in this year's program, Carmelina replied, "To see people smile!"

HOW CANDIDATE SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:

Dani has chosen Ainsley’s Angels as her benefiting organization. Ainsley’s Angels is dedicated to creating inclusive communities through advocacy, education, and accessible endurance events. Their mission is to empower and celebrate all abilities with nationwide connection and support.  

Dani is a servant-leader who shows passion for community service and inclusivity, participating in marathon runs with Ainsley's Angels and being a fixture in the Community Bible Church Access Program. Despite being non-verbal, Dani is very social and communicates confidently thanks to her Dyna Vox Maestro device. She actively gives back by participating in church activities and disability awareness events. Dani’s dedication and joy make her an outstanding ambassador for the Royal Court.

When asked why she wanted to participate in this year's program Dani replied, "Dani has been involved in the community and would like to give back to San Antonio."

​Benefiting Organization: Fiesta Especial Celebration Day

HOW CANDIDATE SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:

Desteny has chosen Fiesta Especial Celebration Day Program as her benefiting organization. Fiesta Especial provides inclusive and educational experiences that engage people with disabilities in the culture and spirit of San Antonio. Led by disABILITYsa, this celebration and its mission expand well beyond Celebration Day, offering inclusion programming and opportunities throughout the city to strengthen and uplift the entire disability community.
​

Desteny is a proud first-generation Latina committed to serving her community through a career in education and as a First-Generation Student Advisor. She expresses her personality and disability through singing, dancing, painting, and social media, fostering connection and representation. Desteny volunteers with organizations like the San Antonio Food Bank and Meals on Wheels, and has held various leadership positions in advocacy and college groups. Through Fiesta Especial Royal Court, she aims to inspire others to embrace their authentic selves and celebrate diversity.
When asked why she wanted to participate in this year's program Desteny replied, "I want to uplift voices and use my platform to advocate for the amazing opportunities the Fiesta Especial Royal Court Program brings to our community as well as the work of disABILITYsa; showing disability through a different and powerful lens to our community!"

​Benefiting Organization: Morgan's Wonderland

HOW CANDIDATE SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:

Elijah has chosen Morgan’s Wonderland as his benefiting organization. Morgan’s Wonderland’s mission is to provide a beautiful, fun environment free of barriers, where everyone is welcome to play and enjoy together. Their inclusive culture fosters understanding and friendship for all ages and abilities.

Elijah’s personal journey with cerebral palsy has made him an outspoken advocate for disability visibility and inclusion. He strives to be a role model for younger generations and speaks openly about overcoming challenges both in and out of the classroom. Elijah credits his family and especially his late grandmother for his drive to keep pushing for equity and recognition. He is ready to stand proud, inspire others, and encourage self-advocacy.

When asked why he wanted to participate in this year's program, Elijah replied, "I believe this is a meaningful opportunity for me and my family, and it would be an honor to be part of a program that spotlights the hearts and passions of individuals with disabilities."

The San Antonio Autism Lions Club
​
HOW CANDIDATE SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:

Eric has chosen The San Antonio Autism Lions Club as his benefiting organization. The club is dedicated to supporting those affected by autism in San Antonio with service, education, and advocacy. Their mission is to cultivate hope, resources, and community for individuals and families.

Eric is a bright and energetic 5th grader, passionate about raising autism awareness through yearly Autism Walks and supporting his community. His dedication and compassion make him a role model for his peers, inspiring teamwork and kindness. Eric is active in choir, piano lessons, and serves as an Altar Server at his church, always striving to help others and learn new things. He leads by example, showing that giving back, embracing curiosity, and being yourself can truly inspire and connect with others.

​When asked why he wanted to participate in this year's program, Eric replied, "I want to help raise money for organizations that help families, especially those who need financial support."

​Benefiting Organization: Fiesta Especial Celebration Day

HOW CANDIDATE SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:

Mason has chosen Fiesta Especial Celebration Day as his benefiting organization. Fiesta Especial Celebration Day, powered by disABILITYsa, is not just a celebration—it serves as a centerpiece for the organization’s year-round inclusion initiatives, including training and “Inclusion Units” designed to support San Antonio groups and businesses in creating welcoming spaces for people with disabilities. 

​
Mason graduated high school and attended Texas A&M University in Kingsville, living independently in the dorms for three semesters before coming home for a break. He participated in FFA, continues to volunteer as a Sunday School teacher helper, and helps with Vacation Bible School at his church. Mason’s perseverance and willingness to follow his passions make him a dedicated leader and advocate, and he gives back with service like trash pick-up with the LaVernia Lions Club. Mason’s strong faith and commitment guide his positive outlook.

When asked why he wanted to participate in this year's program Mason replied, "Let us run with perseverance the race that God has set before you has always been a sounding board for me and following my passions."

HOW CANDIDATE SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:

Hector has chosen Celebration Day as his benefiting organization. This one-day program is part of disABILITYsa’s broader commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion across San Antonio through hands-on experiences for special education, day programs, and families. By providing innovative inclusion programming and practical guidance, disABILITYsa helps transform events and public spaces so they genuinely welcome and engage members of the disability community, offering them equal opportunities to participate and thrive.
​

Hector is known for his energetic and happy spirit, always willing to help others in whatever way he can. He has volunteered at the San Antonio Food Bank and exemplifies the value of giving back to the community through his actions and attitude. Hector's cheerful nature and enthusiasm for helping set a positive example within the program.

When asked why he wanted to participate in this year's program Hector replied, "Maybe they have candy."

​Benefiting Organization: Special Reach

HOW CANDIDATE SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:
Ivan has chosen
Special Reach as his benefiting organization. Special Reach is a San Antonio nonprofit dedicated to providing dynamic enrichment programs for children with special needs and much-needed respite for their families. Their mission is to offer inclusive, engaging activities that help children develop social skills and create lasting memories while ensuring caregivers receive a well-deserved break.

Ivan has dedicated many hours to making his school sensory room better and has raised funds for disability resources. He is recognized for his efforts with awards in advocacy, family engagement, and volunteering and proudly participates in Special Olympics and robotics. Ivan’s family is deeply involved in the disability community, and giving back is core to his values. He continues to inspire others by championing inclusion and support.

​When asked why he wanted to participate in this year's program, Ivan replied, "We want to give back and choose Special Reach because they were very helpful and supportive not only to Ivan, but to our whole family."

HOW CANDIDATE SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:

Jonjon has chosen Angie’s Angels Foundation as his benefiting organization. Angie’s Angels Foundation supports families and individuals with special needs through resources, advocacy, and inclusive community programming. Their goal is to enhance lives through compassion and empowering opportunities.
Jonjon is a friendly, caring individual who enjoys making new friends and helping others in his church and community. He brings awareness through Miracle League and annual fashion shows, promoting inclusion for people with disabilities and cancer survivors. Jonjon’s love of service is matched only by his enthusiasm for connecting with others. He is always ready to lend a hand and make a difference.

When asked why he wanted to participate in this year's program, Jonjon replied, "Jon enjoys serving others out in the community and bringing awareness of inclusion for all with disabilities."

Kinetic Kids

HOW CANDIDATE SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:
Jovanni has chosen Kinetic Kids as his benefiting organization. Kinetic Kids enriches the lives of children with special needs and their families through sports, arts, and educational programs. Their work fosters confidence and community, ensuring every child can flourish.


Jovanni enjoys meeting new people and has experience in leadership, continually encouraging others to pursue their dreams. He has volunteered at his church festivals and school resource events, and with AACOG at community resource gatherings. His extracurriculars include Kinetic Kids, Special Olympics, Boy Scouts, karate, golf, swimming, dancing, Autism Network Camps, and church ministries. Jovanni is excited to finally join the program he has wanted to participate in since age 12.

When asked why he wanted to participate in this year's program Jovanni replied, "Jovanni has been wanting to participate in the program since he was age 12, and now he finally has the opportunity to do it!"

Kate has chosen
Inspirational Experiences as her benefiting organization. Inspirational Experiences is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities through leadership development, community engagement, and personal growth opportunities. Their mission is to create inclusive experiences that inspire people of all abilities to realize their potential and make a positive impact in their communities. 

Kate is a returning member on the Royal Court, constantly building on her leadership and personal development. Her experience with the court and dedication to growing her nonprofit, Inspirational Experiences, set her apart as a determined advocate. Kate is committed to skill-building and empowering others. She hopes her story inspires others to take on new challenges on their own journeys.

When asked why she wanted to participate in this year's program, Kate replied, "I want to be able to continue to work on the skills and be a greater leader."

Lily has chosen Fiesta Especial Celebration Day as her benefiting organization. Fiesta Especial creates accessible and inclusive Fiesta events for children and adults with disabilities in San Antonio. Their mission is to advance and celebrate the disability community through engagement and fun.
​

​Lily is known for her helpful and caring nature, always putting others first and making every situation feel like “her world.” She looks forward to connecting with her community and gaining new experiences outside her comfort zone. While she has not reported volunteer activities yet, Lily enjoys playing computer games and is eager to interact more with her peers. Her positive spirit and willingness to engage with others make her a wonderful addition to the Royal Court.

When asked why she wanted to participate in this year's program Lily replied, "I want to meet new people, try new things, and be more active with my community."

HOW CANDIDATE SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:

Monica has chosen Center Stage PossABILITIES as her benefiting organization. Center Stage PossABILITIES provides innovative and inclusive performing arts experiences for people of all abilities. Their programs support self-expression, leadership, and community through the arts.
​

Monnie is a dedicated self-advocate and a long-time leader in San Antonio’s disability community. She participates in self-advocacy councils, volunteers with The Arc, and finds joy in the arts and continuing her education. Monnie believes everyone with a disability has leadership potential and strives to show the community what’s possible through perseverance. She is proud to help others embrace their abilities and dreams.

When asked why she wanted to participate in this year's program, Monnie replied, "I really love helping people with disabilities to give back to the community and show that we can accomplish anything together."

​Benefiting Organization: Power to Marc

HOW CANDIDATE SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:

Sam has chosen Power to Marc as his benefiting organization. Power to Marc empowers individuals with disabilities to pursue independence, employment, and community participation through advocacy and support. Their mission is to ensure everyone has the power to lead a meaningful life.
​

Sam West is incredibly friendly and eager to make everyone feel included, always introducing himself and getting to know others. He loves to help people and is excited by the opportunity to learn new things. Sam has volunteered at the MAC, engaged in numerous service projects with his church community, and supports Power to Marc, a local nonprofit. When he’s not volunteering, Sam participates in Special Olympics—earning a gold medal in swimming at the USA Games in Orlando 2022—and enjoys activities like movies, shopping, and camping with his family.

When asked why he wanted to participate in this year's program Sam replied, "I love to meet new people and shake their hand!"

HOW CANDIDATE SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:

Vivi has chosen Kinetic Kids as her benefiting organization. Kinetic Kids provides children with special needs and their families opportunities in sports, arts, and educational activities that build confidence and joy. The organization creates a nurturing environment for growth and achievement.

​Vivian is a kind-hearted and hardworking young girl who especially loves caring for young children. She volunteers at Sunshine Cottage School and stays involved through 4H, music, and art, always looking for ways to support others. Vivian’s gentle nature and positive outlook make her a friend to all. She lights up when she’s part of Fiesta Especial events and values making new friends.
​

When asked why she wanted to participate in this year's program, Vivian replied, "I made so many friends last year and want to make a lot more!"
