Fiesta Especial® Thank You Poster Contest

Fiesta Especial® THANK YOU CARD CONTEST

We love sharing the love with the community of Fiesta Especial® supporters who make this day possible. If your class would like to make a thank you poster, we ask that you drop this off at the registration table upon arrival.

Your poster will be entered into a contest to be one of six posters selected to appear in a set of Thank You cards that will be made available for purchase to help cover the costs of Fiesta Especial Celebration Day, a free community engagement experience for youth and adults with disabilities.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:
  1. Posters need to be a standard 22 x 28 inches in size and can be created either landscape or portrait.
  2. Your poster should definitely include a fun and spirit-filled theme
  3. Your design should include the words “Thank You”.
  4. Your poster should NOT include the names of students, school, or sponsors.
  5. You may incorporate a Fiesta Theme and the words “Thank You”
  6. You must complete the contest submission form and affix it to the back of your poster.

SELECTION PROCESS:
  1. Participating classrooms must submit their poster for consideration in the contest at the check-in table at the front of Fiesta Especial Celebration Day on Tuesday, April 29th, 2025. 
  2. The poster must have the completed contest entry form affixed to the back.
  3. All of the rules must be adhered to for a valid contest entry.
  4. A group of 3 judges selected by the disABILITYsa team will select the top 10 posters
  5. The top 10 posters will be made available for public vote May 5th - May 16th online through this voting form: https://form.jotform.com/disABILITYsa/2025-FECD-Poster-Contest. 
  6. The top 6 posters will be made into a set of Thank You greeting cards and receive recognition for the participating classrooms.

AWARD INFORMATION: 
  • Participation: All entries will receive a participation ribbon(s) for the participating students who helped to create each entry.  
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place: The top 3 winning posters will receive a trophy and a 2 copies of the winning card for each student in the classroom.
  • 4th, 5th, and 6th place: will receive a copy of the winning card for each student in the classroom.​
