Special Announcement: The DEADLINE for schools to register to attend is Friday, March 25th at 5:00pm.​ Absolutely NO exceptions will be made. 
Advance reservations required.  Reservation includes complimentary admission, hot dog lunch for students, and unlimited rides for students and their teachers/caregivers.  PLEASE NOTE that the Assumption of Risk Agreement is required for registration.  You can download with the button to the left or through the link on the registration form below. 

​Teachers and Students: If you have a special education class or a student in a special education class, please click the "School Registration" button to learn more about how your school can participate.  Field trip materials and resources are available for your use. Free admission and complimentary hot dog lunch for students with advance reservations.  Schools may apply for a bus reimbursement award for up to $100, which will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.  Awards will be announced in February.  
Guests may bring sack lunches.  Ice chests and coolers may be checked in at the eating area.  Tickets will be sold separately for food, games and craft activities.

    ATTENDEE INFORMATION
    STUDENT BODY INFORMATION
    ** The number of student/PAL Hot Dog Lunches may NOT exceed the total number of Students/PALs attending.**  While securing hot dog lunches is an option for your class, we highly recommend bringing in your lunch.  Ice Chests are allowed.
    Based on the total number of special education students and PALs referenced above, please indicate the age ranges for your student body below.
    STAFF/VOLUNTEER SUPPORT INFORMATION

    TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
    For future planning purposes, we are interested in teachers’ transportation options to Fiesta Especial. On a scale from 1 to 5, how likely would you be to bring your class to Fiesta Especial without the bus subsidy? (Note: your answer here will not affect your eligibility for funding this year). 

    SHOEBOX PARADE
    The shoebox parade will begin at 10:30am. By notifying us of your intention to participate with the question on the right, you will receive information about line-up and logistics that will be sent out one week prior to the event.  Top Floats in each category will receive trophies.  Everyone will receive an honorable mention ribbon.  

    VOLUNTEER SUPPORT
    Volunteers are recruited each year to assist you!  If you would like to be assigned a volunteer to help enable your greatest level of participation in the Celebration Day experience, please let us know.  It is our goal to secure enough volunteers to meet the # of requests.  However, these volunteers will be assigned to classrooms on a first request, first serve bases until we run out of volunteers.

    FIESTA ESPECIAL ROYAL COURT VISITS
    Members of the Fiesta Especial® Royal Court are making school visits on February 21st and March 20th.

    TRANSPORTATION REIMBURSEMENT SUPPORT
    Please do not request support funds if your school or PTA has the ability to cover the cost your transportation.  
    Limited funds are available to assist special education classes in covering the costs of district bus use costs for your Fiesta Especial® Field Trip / Community Instruction & Training Trip.  Funds will be awarded in the order requests are received.  You may request up to / no more than $180 in reimbursement support for your 2020 trip to Fiesta Especial Celebration Day.

    Award Rules & Regulations: Transportation reimbursements will be distributed within 7 days of receipt of your Official Transportation Invoice from your school district.  Invoices may be emailed to [email protected] or faxed to 866-461-5481.  The deadline to submit invoices for reimbursement is Friday, June 5th, 2020. If an invoice is not submitted by this date, you forfeit your award.
