2015 Fiesta Especial Royal Court Alumni


The 2015 Fiesta Especial® Royal Court raised a total of $54,738.02 that will benefit children and adults in the San Antonio community.  What an accomplishment! 

During the 2015 Fiesta season, they will represent Fiesta Especial® in the community demonstrating to others the abilities of all individuals to achieve their dreams...bringing visibility to the leadership and contributions individuals with disabilities make in our community each day.

The Fiesta Especial® Royal Court program is a leadership and life skills development program for individuals with all types of disabilities.


2015 Fiesta Especial King & Queen

Kevyn and Terence raised a total of $17,945 to benefit children and adults with disabilities.

Cody has selected Reaching Maximum Independence, Inc. (RMI) to benefit from his campaign for King.  RMI assists adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their maximum level of independence through educational outreach, vocational and residential services.  Cody's success and independence can be attributed to family, friends, teachers and the services he receives from RMI.

Chelsea has selected Clark High School Friends Having Fun to benefit from her campaign for Queen. Friends Having Fun (FHF) is an organization that was created to establish friendships between students with special needs and their non-disabled peers by facilitating appropriate social situations for all students while promoting awareness of various disabilities.

Diana and Miguel raised a total of $12,716 to benefit children and adults with disabilities.

Ashlyn and Steven have selected the Alliance of Pediatric Providers of San Antonio to benefit from their campaign.  The APPSA seeks to encourage communication between local providers for purposes of collectively enhancing pediatric home health services to the local pediatric community.

HOW APRYLE AND JOSEPH'S CAMPAIGN SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:
Apryle and Joseph have selected Unicorn Centers' Steppers to benefit from their campaign for the Fiesta Especial Royal Court. The Unicorn Center supports persons with intellectual developmental disabilities by developing job and life skills and integrating individuals into supported employment by creating natural community supports. Unicorn Steppers are known throughout the city for their precision dance moves and joyful performances.

2014-2015 Events:

March 21st, 2015: Fiesta Especial® Royal Court Meet & Greet will take place at Mi Casa Tamales from 4pm - 8pm.  Free and open to the public, this is a wonderful opportunity to  meet the 2015 Royal Court.  Activities for kids! Bake Sale!  Fiesta Fun!  Click here for more details.

April 18th, 2015: Fiesta Especial® 5K & Parade will take place starting at the City Hall in Windcrest at 8am & 9am respectively.  Click here for 5K Registration or Parade Registration.  The parade is free to spectators.  

April 23rd, 2015: Fiesta Especial® Carnival will take place in Alamo Dome Lot C from 10am - 3pm.  Advanced Registrations Required.  Free to individuals with disabilities and their companions.
